Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible and the memorial is cared for.

|
Description:
A framed and glazed roll of honour. The paper roll has a red latin cross at the head and the flags of the allied nations in two groups in the top corners. The sheet has a thin red ruled border and the main inscriptions are in red and black sentence case decorative lettering. The names are in three columns, hand written in black with rubricated initials; names of the fallen are marked with a red cross and decorations are added in red. The frame is of oak moulding.

History and Conservation
|
17th April, 1951: The memorial lies within the Peak District National Park designated on that date.
12th February, 2014: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson. It was in fair condition and cared for.
November, 2014: The memorial was moved slightly to its left to facilitate the location of WW2 memorial next to it.
