Location details:
The memorial is at the northern edge of a paved area in the open space bounded by Sinfin Ave, Chellaston Rd (A514) and Merrill Way.

Overall type: Obelisk. Overall condition: Pristine. The inscription is legible and the memorial is cared for.


Description:

A polished, black granite obelisk on a square two-stepped base. Inscriptions are incised on the 6 o'clock and 12 o'clock faces in gilded, upright, mainly sentence case, roman lettering.
