Description:
A black bench with a frame of square tubular metal with the seat formed from horizontal rails. The backrest is formed from sheet metal cut to portray a silhouette of WW1 soldiers and sprays of red poppies, with biplanes overhead and inscriptions above and below.

Unknown date: The bench was made by Roll and Scroll, steel fabricators of Grantham, and installed at this site.
24th August, 2019: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson. It was in pristine condition and cared for.
