Location details:
The memorial is just southwest of the church, towards the southern boundary of the churchyard.
Type
Overall type: Addition to gravestone Overall condition: Good. The inscription is legible.


Description:

An addition to a slate headstone on a family grave. The tall upright headstone has a pointed arch top and a broad foliated border in relief. The resulting centre panel bears an incised inscription in mixed styles of mainly capital lettering. The headstone has the maker's details at its foot and is accompanied by plain oblong sandstone kerbs, some of which have been displaced.

Unknown date: The memorial lies within the Breadsall Conservation Area.

13th April, 2021: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in good condition although some of the kerbs had been displaced.
