Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.


Description:

An addition to the lettering on a headstone on a family grave. The headstone is an oblong black polished granite tablet with a shallow triangular arch top, stepped shoulders and sprays of flowers in panels to each side. The headstone is accompanied by plain oblong black granite kerbs and two vases, one of black granite and one of concrete. The inscription on the headstone and granite vase is incised and gilded in upright capital block lettering, that on the concrete vase is inlaid in upright capital block lettering.
