Description:

A traditional temporary Derbyshire well dressing display made from flowers and other vegetation pressed into clay held in a wooden frame. The design comprised a white dove flying over a rural landscape with a superimposed red white and blue V emblem. The well dressing was displayed for a few days in Summer 2005 and subsequently dismantled.

History and Conservation
Spring 2005: The memorial was designed and erected by members of the local community.

Summer 2005: The memorial was photographed by Glyn Williams. It was in fair condition. The dressing was displayed for a few days then dismantled.
