Location details:
The Pavilion Gardens are large areas of public park along the banks of the River Wye in the centre of Buxton. The pavilion is adjacent to St John's Road but this memorial is towards the western end of the gardens and nearer to Burlington Rd.

Overall type: Tree Overall condition: Good. The inscription is legible.


Description:

A young English Oak tree (Quercus robur) accompanied by a square plastic plaque on a wooden post. The incised inscription is in black upright capital lettering.
