Location details:
The church is accessed from a track running east from the un-named road running north-south through the village. At the time of the survey the vases were on a shelf in a curtained-off vestry in the south transept.

Overall type: Vases. Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.


Description:

A pair of matching circular brass vases with a circular base, a spherical bowl and a flared neck with a ropework design around the waist and an identical inscription on one face in mainly capital decorative lettering with a small cross at the foot.

History and Conservation
c1950: The memorial was acquired and installed in The Church of the Holy Trinity at Peak Dale.

26th October, 2003: The church was closed.

2nd June, 2010: A notice on the door of Holy Trinity Church, Peak Dale, from the Minister and Church Wardens, indicated that they were applying to the Consistory Court of the Diocese of Derby for permission to ... move ... three small items of plate to St Margaret of Antioch, Wormhill.

c2010: The memorial was placed in The Church of St Margaret of Antioch.

29th August, 2018: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition although tarnished and dirty.
