Description:
An addition to the lettering on a white marble panel set into a concrete headstone on a family grave. The upright headstone is in the shape of a latin cross but with a very broad tapered shaft and it surmounts a three-stepped concrete base, the top two steps of which have further white marble panels set into the face and bearing the continuation of the inscription. The inscription is inlaid in mainly upright capital lettering and the headstone is accompanied by plain concrete kerbs.

History and Conservation
|
Unknown date: The memorial lies within the Wormhill and Hargatewall Conservation Area.
29th August, 2018: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in very poor condition with the concrete seriously eroded and crumbled. Although the white marble panels and their inscriptions were in reasonable condition, the collapse of the concrete seems likely within the next few years, resulting in the memorial being considered At Risk overall.
