Overall type: Addition to gravestone Overall condition: At risk. The inscription is legible but the gravestone has become almost buried.


Description:

An addition to the wording on a family gravestone comprising an oblong sandstone headstone with a stepped right shoulder and an incised oblong panel depicting foliage projecting at the top right corner. The incised inscription is mainly in upright capital roman lettering. An additional recumbent rusticated tablet with similar style inscription is on the surface of the grave

12th April, 2019: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition and the inscription was legible, but its position, and the fact that it was almost buried, causes it to be at risk..
