Overall type: Addition to gravestone Overall condition: At risk. The inscription is legible but the gravestone has become almost buried.


Description:

An addition to the wording on a family headstone comprising an oblong granite headstone with shallow arch top and projecting shoulders. The incised and gilded inscription is mainly in upright capital roman lettering and the projecting shoulders bear an incised panel of abstract foliage. The headstone is accompanied by plain granite kerbs and by two tablets and three vases each bearing various inscriptions to members of the Redfern family.
