Description:

An addition to the wording on a family gravestone. The memorial is a tall grey sandstone headstone with a pointed arch top, recessed sides and three panels of foliage in relief forming a crescent shape at the head. The inscription is inlaid in upright capital block lettering originally coloured black, most of which has been lost except on the most recent addition. The headstone surmounts an oblong base with bevelled top and bearing a further incised inscription on its face, and it is accompanied by plain oblong kerbs with the maker's name incised at the foot.
