| c1919: The memorial was acquired and installed in The Church of the Holy Trinity at Peak Dale, probably on the south wall of the nave. 3rd August, 1919: The memorial was unveiled by Brig Gen G D Goodman, CB CMG DSO VD 17th April, 1951: The Church of St Margaret lies within the Peak District National Park created on this date. 21st April, 1967: The Church of St Margaret was listed Grade II*, Heritage List for England number 1087930. Unknown date: The Church of St Margaret lies within the Wormhill and Hargatewall Conservation Area. 26th October, 2003: The church was closed. 2nd June, 2010: A notice on the door of Holy Trinity Church, Peak Dale, from the Minister and Church Wardens, indicated that they were applying to the Consistory Court of the Diocese of Derby for permission to ... move ... two wall mounted war memorials ... to Peak Dale Methodist Church. It is not known whether this was implemented, but Peak Dale Methodist Church closed in July 2014. Unknown date: The memorial was placed in The Church of St Margaret of Antioch. 29th August, 2018: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition. |
