Location details:
The memorial is on private agricultural land adjacent to public footpath Ashover 128 which runs from Highashes La to Spancarr. It is on the southern boundary of OS Parcel 4516 where the footpath crosses the wall. It is about 300m northeast of Spancarr and about 700m southeast of Spitewinter.

Description:

A brass plaque on a stone pillar. The plain oblong brass plaque bears an inscription incised in upright capital block lettering.
