Description:
A blue cedar tree (Cedrus atlantica 'Glauca') in the churchyard accompanied by a dedicatory plaque in the porch. The plaque comprises a shield bearing the emblem of the Royal British Legion with a ribbon below, mounted on a shield-shaped backboard. The backboard is mounted on a further decorative backboard with a dedicatory plaque below bearing the inscription in upright capital decorative lettering.

11th November 1992: The tree was planted by Col Sir Peter Hilton KCVO MC DL JP, lord-lieutenant of Derbyshire and Lady Winifred Hilton.
8th July 2015: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in good condition.
