Description:
An addition to the lettering on a family gravestone which comprises a roughly dressed grey granite formy wheel cross on a three stepped base accompanied by oblong kerbstones. The inscription is inlaid in upright capital block lettering in dressed panels on the 6 o'clock face of the cross and base.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF ELIZA FLORENCE WIFE OF WILLIAM COURTNEY KINGWELL DIED 26TH OCT. 1934 IN HER 65TH YEAR ALSO WILLIAM COURTNEY KINGWELL DIED 10TH MARCH 1947 IN HIS 80TH YEAR. ALSO LEONARD WILLIAM KINGWELL DEARLY LOVED ELDEST SON OF THE ABOVE, WHO SERVED WITH THE SHEFFIELD CITY BATT. IN THE GREAT WAR IN EGYPT & FRANCE & FELL IN ACTION ON THE SOMME 1ST JULY 1916 & IS BURIED AT WIMEREUX. AGED 21.
