Description:
A temporary Derbyshire well dressing display traditionally made from flowers and other vegetation pressed into clay held in a wooden frame but now often utilising stones, beads, fabric etc. The dressing comprised an upright oblong panel depicting a woman picking fruit from a garden with trays and jars of other produce in the garden. It commemorated the WW1 campaign exhorting women to help in the effort to reduce food waste. The inscription was in upright capital lettering on a yellow ground.

2nd August, 2014: The memorial was blessed by the local clergy.
2nd August, 2014: The memorial was photographed by Glyn Williams
10th August, 2014: The memorial was dismantled and the components salvaged for future use.
