Description:
An addition to the lettering on a family gravestone which comprises a white marble headstone and base. The headstone has a shallow swans-neck top with sprays of roses in relief at the two top corners, recessed sides and an inlaid inscription mainly in upright capital block lettering. The oblong base has a bevelled top. Fragments of kerbstones placed nearby suggest that the headstone may have been accompanied by kerbs but there is nothing to confirm that.
